• This Hospital is characterized for implementing a mechanical engineering system that allows great energy savings.
• It is the first hospital of the Ministry of Health in which an air conditioning solution with variable volume refrigerant equipment was implemented in 100% of its facilities.
• For the proper management of the air in the critical areas of the hospital, air handler “kits” were used for the first time, which permitted adapting to Variable Volume Refrigerant systems.
